Phuphaphet Cave |

The largest deep cave of Thailand and the forth of the world with spacious chamber. It features the glittering and twinkling stalactites and stalagmites which look like diamonds, especially when the light shines on them. That’s why is it called Tahm Phet or Tham PhuphaPhet which means diamonds cliff cave.
This cave is situated in Manang Sub-district. On Satun-Had Yai route. |

| Basic information |
Phuphaphet cave located on moo 9 Kuan Din Dam village Palm Pattana Sub-distric, Manang, Satun. Astonishingly, inside is vast, high ceiling, dazzling with charming stalactites and stalagmites in 20 rooms. Covering 50 Rai with difference atmosphere in each room.
Visiting time 09.00 – 15.00. |

| Preparing |
| Because is immense cave, so we need 3-4 hours to covering. The ascent is high and steep around 400 meters, so canvas shoe is needed. Inside the cave, there are the light for conduct but if you have flashlight might be better, also there are flashlight for rent cost 20 bath. |

| Starting |
| Before entry you must pay 20 bath for fee and acquire one guide. After walked up to the entrance, the first impression is when you can feel cool breeze from the cave touch your face to make you to be fresh before the long adventure. There are 2 entry way to get inside, first is the old way which the monk have used, the another is new way and more comfortable. |

| Getting through |
Don’t step on any stalactites and stalagmites which accumulated growing more than 100,000,000 years. There are many hall in Roman style, in the middle of the cave is the biggest hall with twinkling ceiling as glittering of diamonds.
As 20 rooms, there are 15 rooms welcome for tourist namely coral room, mushroom room, king of nagas (serpent) room, curtain room, stone dome room which the water falling from the ceiling when you will be crapping and Lan plean room (pleasingly room) which look like concert hall.
